Wood Park Stables

Wood Park Stables is a beautiful waterside holiday cottage in Millbrook, Cornwall. The former stables to Wood Park House have been converted into a spacious open plan self catering holiday home with private courtyard garden and plenty of free parking. Kingsize bed and shower room upstairs, a sofa bed downstairs with the advantage of a ground floor wet room.

Situated in South East Cornwall on The Rame Peninsula by the River Tamar between Cremyll and Millbrook, it is a haven of peace and tranquility. The Rame Peninsula is designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty & is just across the River Tamar from Devon. Conveniently close to several wedding locations, Polhawn Fort, Mount Edgcumbe, Maker & Rame churches, making Wood Park an ideal base. We are a short drive to HMS Raleigh, Torpoint, for accommodation whilst attending a passing out parade.

Local facilities include, sailing, kayaking, golf, tennis, several good pubs, small shops & places to eat. Some of Cornwall's top attractions are within an hours drive, The Eden Project, Lost Gardens of Heligan, National Trusts Anthony House and Lanhydrock House. Close by is Mount Edgcumbe Country Park, Cremyll foot ferry to Plymouth, Cawsand & Kingsand with their safe bathing beaches. Kingsand and Whitsand Bay are both dog friendly long sandy beaches. For walkers, The South West Coast Path runs very close to Wood Park Stable. We are perfectly placed for cyclists here & offer safe storage for cycles.

Bed linen and domestic towels are provided. Please bring your own beach towels. A starter amount of complimentary tea, coffee & sugar is provided. Main supermarkets deliver to our postcode, Sainsbury, Tesco, Waitrose. There is a very good fruit & veg shop plus a Co Op in the village. Newspapers can be delivered daily during your stay by prior arrangement (extra cost)

Spacious open plan living area, newly fitted and fully equipped kitchen including dishwasher and fridge. Dining table seating 4, sofa bed seating 2-3, coffee table, flat screen free view TV. Ground floor wet room suitable for guests with limited mobility, utility area with washing machine and tumble dryer. Upstairs overlooking the Tamar River there is a kingsize bed, flat screen TV, en suite with airing cupboard. Domestic towels and bed linen supplied. Private off road parking. Ideal location for fishing, golf, bird watching, sailing, swimming, diving and walking, cycling. Whatever your interests are you will find a stay here on the Rame Peninsula a truly wonderful experience.
