About
Rose Cottage
In the heart of Kingsand, within a hundred yards of two excellent pubs and the beach, one of the ancient cottages that make this village so delightful and other-world. It sits back-to-back with its sister cottage, which together formed a chapel in previous centuries, on a tiny lane where no traffic other than feet or two wheels pass. Access via 3 steps up from lane. Open-plan living/dining/kitchen (washer-drier, microwave, fridge, electric cooker) with surprisingly lofty ceiling giving clues to its former life, TV/DVD, iPod dock and step up to the kitchen area. Bathroom (suite, shower over bath). Steep stairs (stair-gate) from hall (for coats/boots) up to two bedrooms, both with 5'9" door lintels - a double (hooks for clothes-hanging), and a bunk room (3' beds). Unloading/loading outside; car park, 150 yards. A smashing cottage tucked peacefully amid Kingsand’s pretty little narrow streets, yet on the spot for beaches, pubs, cafés and walks.
