We take great care of our guests and are proud of our 5 star Trip Advisor rating.
Coombe House is a farmhouse bed and breakfast which lies in the peaceful rural setting of Coombe Farm on the famous and picturesque Mount Edgcumbe estate close to Polhawn Fort and part of the Rame Peninsula in Cornwall. Extensively bombed in World War II, the house has been completely renovated and refurbished to incorporate many of its original features and offers a high standard of accommodation.
At Coombe House you experience the best of both worlds; it lies on the outskirts of the beautiful fishing villages of Kingsand and Cawsand with superb views of the bay yet it too offers a secluded garden in which to relax, read a book or soak up the sun. Why not indulge in a traditional Cornish Cream Tea served to you on the lawn? Coombe House Bed and Breakfast is a peaceful haven away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and is an idyllic location from which to base your stay.
Within walking distance of the house you will find lovely beaches, stunning scenery, numerous coastal paths to explore and the unspoilt house and gardens of Mount Edgcumbe Park. You will never have to venture far to make your stay at Coombe House an unforgettable experience.
The villages of Kingsand and Cawsand are relatively still untouched commercially yet still offer everything the discerning tourist will require. There are four pubs all offering a high standard of food; whether it be quick traditional pub grub or freshly caught local fish and seafood, you will not be disappointed.
As a family-run business, our aim is to ensure your stay here with us is as comfortable as possible. Everything from our beautifully decorated rooms, crisp bed linen, freshly cooked and hearty breakfasts and friendly atmosphere, all serve to reflect our “home from home” approach.
We also benefit from being able to offer ample car parking on site.
