Chough Cottage, Heavitree Road, Kingsand is a 3 storey, 2 bedroom property stunningly located in this beautiful former fishing village, and has far reaching coastal views from the sitting room.

The property is thought to be about 200 years old, but has recently been thoroughly modernised. It is snuggled in a row of 18th century houses, 150 yards up from the beach and 60 yards to the coastal footpath.

Access is from Heavitree Road, a narrow lane which is not suitable for cars, so there is no passing traffic!
Luggage etc. can be unloaded at the top of the road (30 yards - an excellent sack barrow is provided!). Because of this we are sorry that the property is not suitable for people with mobility problems.

Car park 200 yards – weekly tickets available at a cost of £16-£20 depending on time of year.

The front door opens to the hall (coats/boots) and three steps up to two bedrooms, Twin bedroom at the front, Double bedroom to the rear (TV, DVD) with French windows to a little Courtyard, imaginatively done with plants, lighting and a bistro table for two.

From hall, Loo with washbasin, stairs (stair-gate) up to an attractive, light, open plan Living room/Fitted Kitchen/Dining Room (dishwasher, fridge, microwave, TV, surround sound DVD, skybox with Freeview, Optiflame electric stove) with pinewood floor/rug and those lovely time-wasting sea views. Binoculars provided to view the many passing boats and naval ships. Above the living room is an Open Loft/Sleeping Platform with a double futon, accessed by a pull down ladder, suitable for adults or older children.

Back in the hall, more stairs down to a roomy smart Bathroom with large freestanding bath, separate shower cubicle, washbasin and washing machine/tumble dryer.
