Tawny (Glebe Barn Holiday Cottages)
Converted 19th Century Barn, Self Catering Holiday Cottages, Perfectly Situated for Exploring Cornwall’s and Devon’s South Coasts.
Located at the heart of Cornwall’s Rame peninsula, a designated Area of Outstanding natural Beauty, Tawny and Apple Tree are newly refurbished two bed cottages, set in a wooded rural area, with private gardens and ample parking. They offer a perfect blend of classic Cornish cottage feel but with modern facilities and equipment giving you a relaxed and trouble free environment in which to stay.
Situated just off the A374, the cottages benefit from quick and easy access by car and bus to the local area, Plymouth and Devon while also being within five miles of the A38 and the rest of Cornwall. The Rame Peninsula boasts numerous beaches and walks with stunning estuary and coastal scenery and many opportunities for adult and family outdoor recreation and water sport activities.
Tawny Cottage
From the gardens, the Tawny cottage is entered via an entrance hallway, leading into the cosy open plan living, kitchen and dining area, with beamed ceilings, stone wall, quarry tile floor and woodland views.
The kitchens are newly fitted and fully equipped with solid beech worktops, separate oven and hob, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave and plenty of cupboard space for food storage.
Further storage space for beach bags, suitcases etc, can be found underneath the carpeted stairs, which lead to the first floor.
The two comfortable bedrooms, one double and one twin, both have plenty of storage space and views over the orchard and surrounding woodland.
Also situated on the first floor is the bathrooms, with bath, shower, toilet and wash basin.
Please Note:
Change over day is usually Friday, but we can be flexible on this particularly during non peak times.
A cot can also be accommodated, please contact us to discuss any of the above.
Please bring your own beach towels.
In Low season periods our minimum stay is normally 3 nights, but we can do 1 or 2 nights but with a minimum fee of £100.
