The Cross Keys Inn

The Cross Keys is a  traditional Inn, in the heart of Cawsand Square just seconds from the beach.

We are ideally located for those seeking comfortable, happy and relaxing surroundings at any time of the year. Positioned on The Square in the picturesque old fishing village of Cawsand and just 25 metres from the beach, the Cross Keys is a popular destination for visitors and locals alike. Relax over a pint of one our well kept local cask ales,  draught lagers and ciders or enjoy freshly prepared food from our extensive menu and enjoy local seafood, fish and meat dishes from our specials boards.

Join us for our popular Curry Night every Wednesday. (except school summer holidays), and live music every Sunday at 4.30pm.

We also have our own self-contained holiday apartment, The Smugglers Rest, which offers well appointed self catering accommodation with en suite double and twin rooms and an open plan kitchen and lounge diner.

Children & Dogs

We welcome well behaved dogs and children, but dogs are allowed in the main bar area only. (The only exception to this is No dogs on a Sunday afternoon during our live music session). As well as handing out doggy treats we also provide towels to wipe down wet dogs.  Highchairs are available.

Opening Hours

Our general opening hours are shown at the bottom of the page.  Our kitchen is normally open for lunch from 12pm to 2pm (2:30 on a Sunday) and from 7pm to 9pm in the evening.  Last orders are 15 mins prior to the  kitchen closing.  Food service times are extended during the peak summer period.​

To avoid disappointment, booking for our dining area is always advisable, particularly at peak times of the year.  Please try and be on time for your booking as at really busy times we cannot guarantee to hold your table for longer than 15 minutes.  If you do need to cancel for any reason, we would appreciate a call, so that we may release your table.
