Reiki (Ray-Key) means ‘Universal Life Force Energy’

Reiki is a healing technique which was originally developed in Japan by Dr Mikao Usui, using the Universal Energy which is in and around all of us.

Reiki is a natural, holistic, complementary, safe and gentle therapy which assists the individuals body, emotions, mind and spirit for the highest good.

Reiki is non-invasive and can assist to bring balance into your being, which promotes healing and relaxation.

Reiki is performed when the individual lies down or in a sitting position, whichever is most comfortable. The individual remains fully clothed, but for comfort may wish to remove outer coat, shoes and/or glasses.

Reiki is a light hands-on contact or hands-off contact whichever the individual prefers, using traditional hand movements, hand positioning and targeted hand resting in a predetermined sequence with minimal pressure on or slightly above the body on each energy point.

A Reiki session can last upto 60 minutes depending on the needs of the individual.

Reiki does not manipulate or massage the body.
